Undoing Window Configurations

Pro Tools lets you revert to the previous Window Layout and Window Settings with a single level of undo. This is useful, for example, if you recall a Window Configuration, but then decide you want to revert to the previous screen state.

To undo a Window Configuration:

On the numeric keypad, press Period (.), 0, and then Asterisk (*).

To redo a Window Configuration:

On the numeric keypad, press Period (.), 0, and then Asterisk (*).

If Auto-Update Active Configuration is enabled, undoing the Window Configuration reverts to the previously stored Window Configuration without automatically saving changes (see Updating Window Configurations).
